If you haven't yet signed up and need to talk to us or book a package you can do that on our Appointments page.
You took the first step. Many people don't. No matter where you are in your process we can help, and this is a great first step to begin living in your purpose, becoming yourself, and getting even more committed to riding the roller coaster with arms up.
ABOUT OUR FIRST MEETING
1. LOGISTICS.
- We’ll plan to call you for our first call, then we'll ask you to call thereafter (there’s a strategic reason for this)
- Please be in a place where you can speak about confidential topics
- Please also have a pen and paper available, or laptop, or app on your phone for making notes
2. COACHING PORTAL.
You'll receive an email from our coaching portal to log in. You can make appointments, payments, and create your own metrics to track. There's a section for you to receive articles to read and exercises as well.
Scheduling first 2 appointments. We suggest that you complete your first two appointments within the first 3 weeks of signing up (spaced roughly 10-14 days apart) to get through all the introductory discussions and homework quickly, after which you will begin the Warriors at Work courses and get started (re)creating your work and life!
Coaching Agreement. For our first session, you'll receive a copy of the Coaching Agreement through the portal. This is what you agreed to when you signed up (you clicked the box under Terms), and is being delivered again so that a) you have a copy and b) to make sure you actually saw it because there's some valuable info in it.
3. TO DO.
If you haven’t already looked at them, the pages of this web site have good information designed for YOU - to help you get started thinking about your coaching goals:
- Services. for individuals, teams, and mastermind cohorts
There is nothing else that you need to do to be prepared for this first meeting. We'll go over everything with you. If you're eager to get started, there are several other things listed below.
BEFORE OUR SECOND MEETING
1. COACHING PORTAL
These will be delivered to you through the portal, to be completed before the 2nd meeting.
- Professional Life Review. Also available for download below.
- Coaching Commitment. This is your commitment to yourself, and to your results, that we ask you to sign.
- Article on the 4-quadrant to do list. Very brief. Also available for download below.
2. BOOK FUTURE APPOINTMENTS.
You should be able to book 2-4 appointments ahead, if you prefer to get them in your calendar. They are moveable up to 48 hours in advance.
3. APP FOR PRIORITIZING.
We're going to be prioritizing things outside of your regular workload. We suggest creating a free account with Asana and downloading it onto your phone and/or laptop to sync among them. If you already have a practice that you’re committed to, don’t feel obligated to change it. e9 Corporate Coaching has no relationship with Asana, we just think after much research that it's the best app we've seen for prioritizing, syncing, and notifications. And it's free!
Neuroplasticity is “the brain’s ability to change itself constantly by creating new neural pathways and losing those which are no longer used. For the brain to rewire itself requires sustained practice of a new behavior which will sufficiently challenge the brain to think in a new way.” [1]
These new neuropathways in your brain literally change its shape. Importantly, neural connections used over and over become stronger, while those not used weaken.[2]
